Add access deliberately.
Sidekick includes account connection presets and support for custom HTTP MCP connections. Availability depends on the provider, client registration and access you can grant. A preset does not mean live authorization has been accepted on every provider.
Use clear account names.
If you connect more than one account, label them clearly — for example, Personal and Work. Sidekick can ask for clarification when a task’s account is ambiguous. Review the selected account before approving an action.
Check the permission request.
Only connect accounts you are authorised to use. Review what the provider says a connection can access. Use the provider’s own settings to revoke access when you no longer need it.
Know the current boundary.
Live login, refresh and revocation acceptance remain incomplete. Sidekick’s public web reading and native desktop tools do not currently provide a fully managed, authenticated browser workflow for each task. Suggestions use workspace and account templates, not a complete feed of recent connected-app activity.
