Define the output before starting
Retvest Work is the employee task and file-workflow surface inside Deploy. Begin with the requested deliverable: a report, workbook, presentation or file analysis. Specify the approved inputs, intended audience, output format and person responsible for reviewing it.
Separate generated files from live Office access
Creating a DOCX, XLSX or PPTX file is different from operating inside a live Word, Excel or PowerPoint document. Generated-file workflows exist in product source; live host integration is a separate, unqualified scope. Agree which path your pilot includes.
Preserve the saved version
Keep the original output and subsequent revisions distinguishable. The record should identify the task, attempt and exact saved file used for a preview or download. A link to the latest file must not silently stand in for an earlier reviewed version.
Review according to the file type
- Word
- Review the text, source material and document layout. A text preview does not establish rendered pagination or formatting.
- Excel
- Inspect sheets, cell values and formulas. A stored formula cache is not evidence that the workbook was recalculated correctly.
- PowerPoint
- Review the slide content and visual layout in the intended presentation environment before sharing.
Handle interrupted work explicitly
Distinguish a draft, a tool attempt, a saved artifact and a completed request. When a save or download has an uncertain outcome, reconcile the existing operation before requesting a new one. A successful model reply is not proof that a file was written.
Connect the output to review
Define who can submit, review or export the work, and which source material they may see. A reviewer grant should expose the intended work without opening unrelated conversations or Private Work. Full installed creation, revision and recovery acceptance remains part of qualification.
